If you follow my Instagram, you probably know that every weekend I go to Lula Cafe in Logan Square.  And that I have one small obsession.

  
Their coffee. It really is the best coffee. And I was so happy to find out that they get their coffee from a local coffee roaster, in Fulton Market, the Metric Coffee Co.

  
I don’t care about your green mermaids or mountain moose brand coffees.  I  really dream of the coffee at Lula Cafe all week.  I fantasize about holding that warm cup in my hands and smelling it.  A mini coffee sauna.  

  
And on Saturday I blearily make my way to Lula and know that the first thing I will order is their coffee.  I don’t know what it is or how they do it.  With 2 lumps of sugar and a splash of cream it’s the perfect coffee flavor with just the right amount of sweetness. Aaaah…

  
And yes, in case you were wondering, I don’t let my husband drink his coffee until I have photographed it.  I think they have the most photogenic coffee too.
